چکیده

Abstract High loaded textile dying effluents should undergo for treatment prior to final disposal into the environment. The current study aimed apply naturally abundant and cheap by-product material namely sawdust (SWD) develop magnetized cellulosic nano-adsorbent based on magnetite nanoparticles reactive dye removal Synozol Red K-HL (R K-HL). powder of SWD, which is available through various industries, was modified via pre-treatment with acid hydrolysis bleaching before blending them particles synthesized co-precipitation route. Sawdust conjugated Fe 3 O 4 at different weight percentages (wt%), i.e. SF-(1:1), SF-(2:1), SF-(3:1), SF-(5:1) SF-(1:2), then subjected microwave technique, characterized by X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD); transmission electron microscope (TEM); Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). Thereafter, effects system parameters adsorption capability, pH, temperature loading were studied using adsorbents. SF-(2:1) adsorbent showed highest affectivity achieved (21.71 mg g ?1 ) uptake a catalyst dosage 1 L . Moreover, complete (100%) attained low initial in aqueous medium. Langmuir, Freundlich, Temkin Dubinin–Radushkevich (D-R) isotherm models their corresponding constants calculated discussed. experimental results that Langmuir model well expressed data. kinetics R found depend operational temperature. A three kinetic has been made, Bangham’s describe all adsorbents applied. onto spontaneous exothermic nature as concluded from thermodynamic assays. Experimental verified could be successfully eliminated feasibly stream economic way.

Occupational Asthma Induced by the Reactive Dye Synozol Red-K 3BS

Various reactive dyes can elicit occupational asthma in exposed textile industry workers. To date, there has been no report of occupational asthma caused by the red dye Synozol Red-K 3BS (Red-K). Here, we report a 38-year-old male textile worker with occupational asthma and rhinitis induced by inhalation of Red-K. He showed positive responses to Red-K extract on skin-prick testing and serum spe...

Beads-Milling of Waste Si Sawdust into High-Performance Nanoflakes for Lithium-Ion Batteries

Nowadays, ca. 176,640 tons/year of silicon (Si) (>4N) is manufactured for Si wafers used for semiconductor industry. The production of the highly pure Si wafers inevitably includes very high-temperature steps at 1400-2000 °C, which is energy-consuming and environmentally unfriendly. Inefficiently, ca. 45-55% of such costly Si is lost simply as sawdust in the cutting process. In this work, we de...
